Essential oils are volatile oils that evaporate and oxidize rapidly when exposed to the air. Essential oils also deteriorate when exposed to light and heat. Essential oils should be stored in cool to abbient temperatures in tightly sealed, tamper evident, amber glass containers with as little as possible head (air) space inside the container.
While our essential oils are of the highest therapeutic grade, we ask that you never use essential oils internally unless a qualified healthcare practitioner has advised you to do so and the practitioner has recommended a specific plant genus, species, and specific dosage amount. Please note that some essential oils are toxic if taken internally.
Essential oils easily penetrate the skin and some may cause skin irritation or sensitivity if not properly diluted or if used in high concentrations. Some people may have sensitivity to different essential oils no matter the dilution. Each individual should test themselves for sensitivity by applying each dilution to a small area before using on a larger area.
Each essential oil has it's own recommended applications which can be viewed by double clicking on the individual essential oil or synergy blend in the "Products" store.
